“ Amazing carnitas and pastor tacos-WOW! Such nice staff and a nice covered area with booths and tables and heaters. Also have a small selection of Mexican chips and candies and soft drinks. Get beer or cider next door at Russo's and enjoy at your choice of indoor or outdoor setting. Not sure why only 4.1. We love their tacos! ”
“ Awesome food! The Carnitas slaps! Fast and friendly service. There is limited indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating with a bar next door to enjoy a cold beverage with your meal. ”
“ First off. The food rocks. Great meal. Dark red sauce is delicious. They only do one meat per taco plate so I had to order single tacos and side of rice and beans to get what I wanted for two people. Don't really understand paying more to have someone put stuff in a variety of containers only to confuse the process ultimately not getting the side of guacamole I ordered. I'll eat there next time to avoid any issues. ”
“ Probably my favorite taco truck in Oregon and I love the red salsa. It's spicy and flavorful. Nothing crazy just tortillas, meat, cilantro, and onions. Perfect. I'd get it to go because it's good out, although they do have covered seating if you want to eat onsite. Everything is great except the lengua but most places mess it up anyway. ”
“ We had a great experience working with Las Palomas to cater our daughter's first birthday back in May. I'm blanking on the name of the lovely woman I spoke with to coordinate everything, but she was SO helpful! I told her how many guests, number of kids, food preferences, and she gave her recommendations for amounts and types of food to order. Everything was very reasonably priced - especially compared to some other places we'd called. We had a smaller turnout than anticipated so more food than we needed, but we didn't mind the leftovers because everything was so tasty. Absolutely everyone at the party was asking where we got the tacos. I was tempted to remove one star just because the food wasn't ready when they said it would be, and we had guests waiting to be fed far longer than we planned. But at least the food was hot and fresh when we served it. And they packed it so well that it was very easy to transport (and stayed hot). Overall a good experience, and we'd recommend them for large events, for sure! ”
“ My family and I love coming here for authentic Mexican food. The tacos are my favorite kind of street tacos. They have many options and they're all good. The toughest part is choosing which one you want. The burritos are huge, big enough for two or enough for two meals! Enjoy some cider or beer next door and there's tons of outdoor seating. ”
“ We moved to Happy Valley this year and drove by here regularly looking at the Yeti Growlers sign. Well that place closed and Ruzzo's Retreat opened. Checked that out and liked it, so brought wife here and needed to eat something. Well we were very impressed with the quality of the tacos, nice juicy meat. We're gonna be back since it's great and so close to home! ”
